During the final meeting, the objective was in two days to present the outcomes of ENDLESS Metal project to a few external experts, among which Dr. A. Gelbert-Miermon, coordinator of research at HE-Arc CR, Dr. G. Erny, chair of COST Action PortASAP and Dr. F. Ortelli, scientific officer of CIG ENDLESS Metal for COST Association (who finally could not attend due to sickness). It followed the 3rd Training School, during which Discovery Mat application and Pleco were demonstrated. MiCorr application which is considered to be the most interdisciplinary tool of ENDLESS Metal toolkit was demonstrated on the first day of the final meeting both to the participants of the Training school and students in museology from Faculdade de Letras da Universidade do Porto/Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Porto – (FLUP), within a workshop. Participants could appreciate through practical exercises the possibilities offered by the support diagnosis tool. We acknowledge the National Museum Soares dos Reis (MNSR) for giving us access to their collections.

On the second day, we had in the morning a fabulous visit to the museum by its director António Ponte, and collection manager Susana Medina.

In the afternoon, we moved to FLUP for our final meeting. We were welcomed by Director Prof. Paula Costa Pinto, also on behalf of Prof. Inês Amorim, Scientific Coordinator of the R&D unit Transdisciplinary Research Center for Culture, Space and Memory (CITCEM).

The session began with a presentation by Dr. G. Erny of COST Action PortASAP (CA16215), its objectives and outcomes. C. Degrigny presented similarly ENDLESS Metal - COST Innovators Grant 16215 which is a follow up. The CIG team members presented then our major activities: training schools (Dr. E. Menart & R. Jeanneret), workshops in France (M. Drieux) and Gdansk (Dr. K. Schaefer-Rychel), Short-term scientific missions (Dr. C. Degrigny), case study in Timisoara (R. Gavrila) and communication (Dr. P. Menino Homem). Of course, there was another moment of good humour, which has always dominated this year: private images that caused general laughter.
