ENDLESS Metal participates in the 3rd COST Communication Seminar.

The seminar was organised by Karima Ben Salah and focused on the theme of Communication. In addition to her participation, it also featured Lorna Stokes, Svetlana Voinova and Katchamon Nimprang.

After being received by Ronald de Bruin, Director of the COST Association, all group members introduced themselves and presented the Actions in which they participate. ENDLESS Metal was the only COST Innovators Grant present. All others were COST Actions.

The participating group benefited from sessions of great interest and usefulness, in addition to being creative and promoting sharing and collaboration relationships.

The first session was oriented towards strategies that can increase the impact of actions and their visibility. The tips and tricks were excellent. This was followed by another dedicated to more administrative issues regarding communication, dissemination, and valorisation of results. Also, issues related to funding rules and identity. Two breakout sessions challenged participants to form groups, reflect together, draft key steps to set up a communication and dissemination strategy and identify what could be a success for the respective actions. Rapporteurs shared the groups’ results; solutions were discussed, and lessons were learned.

Cases of success and tools that help to achieve it were also shared.
